Lake Fork | Fork Report

Ron and Diane fished with me thursday on Lake Fork. This couple lives on Lake Fork and wanted to learn a little more about fishing crappie on the lake.

It was a little choppy, so we were limited to where we could fish. But it worked out in our favor. All fish were caught in mid lake west arm in 17-20 foot on brush. Minnows were choice of bait.

We managed a two man limit, 50 crappie!

These two love to eat fish and looks like they will have lot of fish to eat.

Lake Palestine | Hurricane Crappie

This was a father and sons trip with Burt Sr, Burt and Mason on Lake Palestine.

Started out the day with winds supposed to be 10-15. But that didn't happen ended up with winds 20-25. So we had hide from the wind all day.

All fish were caught on brush 10-12'.

All three of these guys were able to catch their personal best crappie! Ended the day with 52 crappie!

Lake Palestine | 75 Crappie

Today Neil booked a trip for him and his wife Sandy and friends Angie & Atley.

Wow, what a day! These guys put a whooping on some crappie today. For nine years old i was very impressed with Atley on his fishing skills. And not to leave his mom out these two sure can fish.

Today there was literally three to four crappie swinging at me at one time to be unhooked.

Gotta love May crappie fishing.

These guys ended the day with 75 fish and left them biting.

Thanks again guys, enjoyed it.

Call to book your Memorial Day trip!

Man y'all did well. glad y'all stayed safe on Friday, we were on cedar creek and I'm pretty sure there were legitimate 4-6 footers out there.

Probably going to need a good rain to bring the water levels back up with all the crappie reductions going on....
