Headed down there next week, to do a little wade fishing. Any suggestions on places to go? We don't have a boat. Also what have the trout and reds been hitting? Thanks!

From Aransas Pass right before you get to the ferry for Port Aransas right hand side of the road has lots of good wading. Also Conn Brown Harbor at night on the pier for trout.

Lots of different areas to wade down there. Both sides of Wilsons cut is another good option. Have waded there for years. As for lures, you can't go wrong with a bone spook jr. or a weedless gold spoon. Weedless rigged soft plastics are also helpful as the summer moves along.

good luck and have fun.
