Lake Fork Anglers every other week Thursday daytime tournament for May 11 was a bass fest for a few and very tough for the rest. Hollow body frogs, spinner baits and other top waters accounted for a lot of fish. Oh yeah and the always faithful drop shot

What did not give us a break was the wind again, along with the thunder and rain.

Only the five largest count.

First Place Angler went to Dennis Bubinas of Emory with a 6 fish bag of 21.09 lb anchored by the 7.95 boater lunker.
Second place went to Jack White of Yantis with 17 fish coming in at 19.50 with a 7.02 lunker.
Third place went to Rick Green of Missouri with a 9 fish at 16.26 lb with the 5.08 lunker.
Fourth place went to Bob Roberts of Longview with a 9 fish bag at 14.31 with a 4.49 lunker
Fifth place went to Curt Blount of Yantis with 12 fish bag for 11.45 with a 3.95 lunker.

First place went to Gene Shoemaker of Quitman with a 5 fish bag of 12.79 lb with the 4.31 tie lunker.
Second place went to John Markos of Paris with a 8 fish bag for 10.84 with a 5.09 (not in the lunker pool) lunker.
Third place went to Wayne Smith of Quitman with a 9.9 bag lb on 7 fish and the 4.31 tie lunker.
Fourth place went to Randy Fugate of Corsicana with 4 fish for 5.68 with a 2.25 lunker.
Fifth place went to Cheryl Allen of Emory with 3 bass for 5.47 with a 3.02 lunker.

160 fish were caught that were keepers.
