Glass rattles are expensive, especially considering I have to tie at least two of a new pattern until it starts looking right. Just took delivery of 300 rattles (3mm, 4mm, and 5mm) from a seller I found on eBay, dropzonebaits.com. They cost less than 1/2 Bass Pro and several online shops - less than $.18 each, no tax and free shipping. Just thought I'd pass it along.

That's a great price. I like the rounded end ones more than the pointed ones.

I tie shrimp and baitfish patterns with 3mm rounded Pyrex rattles. Seems to help in murky/muddy water.

Some of these vendors take 2-4 weeks to get your items but the savings is well worth the wait. They have feathers, thread, wire, tackle anything you may need at cheaper than EBay prices!!!
