How soon will the cottonwoods bloom and the channel cat spawn? Seems that the fronts have got them pushed back a little.I'm not catching many with a full egg bag.

I've seen cottonwood seeds floating around here and there. I also seem to catch several (8-15) channel catfish at Grapevine every time I've been out (3 times in the last 2 weeks). Granted, a lot of little throwback 12"-13" ones but some good ones too, been keeping 6-8 15"-18" ones each trip.. But, overall it's been kind of slow for me too. Hope to get on a big pile of them soon. Water temps are just barely 70-72 degrees (surface temp) so that needs to go up a little I think.
