What are my options?

I currently have an older hot maps premium navionics sd card that I have been running in an older lowrance.
I am thinking on getting a new hummingbird helix and it has only a micro sd card slot. Is there anyway to use my current sd card with this new hummingbird?
If not what are my options?
It is the hummingbird helix 5 di/gps model.
Thanks......

I thought about that but after researching some say that trying to copy could ruin the original card, so am afraid to try it.
I thought about getting a card reader that would plug into a micro slot but thought I would ask here first.
Thanks......

All electronics are going to the micro size. You are going to have to buy a new card

Go with the Helix 9, it uses the full size SD card.

The lakemaster cards come as a micro SD in an adapter that can be used in any unit. That said, you are going to get tired trying to read that 5" screen for extended pariods. Go with the biggest you can possibly afford because you are going to be upgrading pretty soon.

All of the newer Navionics cards(past 3-4 years) all come with a micro card inside of an SD holder, you do have a couple of options. Obviously 1 you can just buy a new card, if you go that route I would recommend the Navionics+ Regions card for $149 or (2) since you are an existing customer you can buy the Navionics updates card for $99. THe updates card takes a little time(about 15 mins) to activate on your computer but can save you a few bucks too by going that route.

Just for kicks and grins, I bought an adapter for the regular sd card to a micro sd slot and it worked great.
Just thought I would update what I found.......

How did you waterproof the unit with that connection?
