Fished Fayette yesterday with 2 old friends. Water temp 78-81 degrees and wind relentless til late in the day. (Is it EVER calm there) Shad activity heavy, with lots of feeding going on. Ended up with 74 bass. Also tried for bluegill for about 30 minutes and caught 7. Majority of fish caught on east side of lake. Got home (luckily) and noticed a tire on the trailer askew...burned up bearings...took in for repairs this morning...so...outa commission for a few weeks. Bass caught on an assortment of worms and crankbaits. Nothing bigger than 3.8 lbs...

Nice! I guess I should have gone today. The wind and my small boat scared me off. Went and fished the river and ended up with 6.

That looks like a good day.
Have y'all seen any kayak's out there fishing? If I go on a calm to no wind day(if that will ever happen), do you think it will be non-productive out of a kayak?
Even if I tie off to a tree and hug to the shoreline in the early morning or late evening.
Thanks for any help!!
