My lawn has quite a bit of clover.
First, is that a bad thing? I know clover puts nitrogen back into the soil.
From what I have read that muchclover is an indication of low nitrogen levels. Web says allow grass to grow higher and increase nitrogen level. I have fertilized twice so far this year...but we have had a lot of rain. Should I continue with the taller grass, fertilize often theory, or just go with a broadleaf herbicide. If so, which one?
Thanks in advance for your advice....

If it's bur clover nuke it, otherwise go with higher grass and maybe some compost.

I've asked this question once, when I found it last year in my front yard flower bed.
I was told it pretty much dies away by mid-summer heat.

I live in Kentucky.
Summer here is vibrant green, not that burnt out brown you folks seem to love...

It is stored in the healthy plant and only is released when it dies. kill it and reap the benefits or just fertilize with commercial stuff and get 100 times more nitrogen in the soil.
