...Coming up in 2 weeks, and it looks like it's going to be a great event. I'll be there with the Costa crew from Fri-Sun at the Angelina Expo Center in Lufkin.

Costa Repair Team will be on hand to clean and repair your Costa's at no charge. This deal was a big hit at the Classic in Houston. They were replacing worn frame parts and scratched lenses. This is all part of the new Costa Cares initiative.

Also, come by and register for a new Skeeter ZX 225 that will be given away at the end of the year, as well as checking out all the new Costa frames and lenses for 2017.

Hope to see ya'll there.

It was a total flop in Frisco

They really don't need to try again, Total Failure on Toyota hosting the event.

Charge $20 just to see vendors which most were not fishing related, and the weigh in was staged horrible

C'mon Jack, let it go. You think Toyota and everyone else doesn't know that the last TTBC in Frisco was a bad idea? As for the Costa outreach, it was one of the longest lines at the Classic Expo the entire weekend. Allie and I didn't need any repairs but these guys were also cleaning Costas for everyone who wanted them cleaned. One line for repairs, a shorter line for cleaning. And all free. Great idea and customer service Costa!

I have nothing but good things to say about Toyota and their support of bass fishing. They hooked me up with VIP tickets to Frisco last year. I had so many free drinks and awesome food even those pop country bands were starting to sound good.

Yep hard to say anything bad about a company that has done so much for bass fishing.

Timing is just terrible for an event like that in the spring in DFW.

It is just a shame that they changed it to a BASS only event. It was better when it was a multi-trail tournament. Let them complete against each other on a neutral field. But Toyota is a BASS sponsor and they do a lot for the trail so it is their choice. But I won't be there

More specifically, Gulf States Toyota and Texas bass fishing. Having been involved with the TTBC since before its inception, I will tell you that were it not for Mr. Friedken and his company (GST), the TTBC may not have ever happened. I have nothing but good to say about the man, his company and Toyota in general. First class organization top to bottom.

Roger are they going to bring some Zane lenses with them?

I think having it in Frisco was the problem, not the event itself. Why hold a good ole boy sport in the middle of yuppy central? I mean really, Frisco is the metrosexual capital of Texas, not to mention being in the middle of the worst traffic in DFW. I sure as heck wouldn't have driven there for anything less than VIP all access passes, us normal folks avoid that area like the plague...

I hope the event this year is a success, wish I cold make it!

BASS will take good care of the event and it will be a success. Kudos to everyone involved with the TTBC since its inception. Great group of people who've done so much for the sport and worked hard. Loved attending them.

Same weekend as Sealy tournament on toledo. I'm hoping most people are fishing that so it won't be as crowded.
