Dan's right. As head of the household you need to man up here. Tell the ghost they either need to step up or step out. Right now it sounds like you are both acting like little girls. Be the alpha here. After that the ghost will either leave or you'll get enough material for a book followed by a movie deal. It's win/win.

Many years ago, I had some strange events of my own. Can't say I ever got any definite answers but the psychokinetic theory fit my situation a lot better than a ghost. Might be worth a read.

Get rid of any objects that came with the house and any newly acquired but not new objects since you moved there. Spooks usually attach themselves to some object....BwaaHAHAHA!!!!

Also try rubbing everything in the house down with lavender essential oil.

I rented the house between the cable company and the church. I'm kind of on the fence about ghost, but do believe there could be some kind of spirit/demons/evil forces, but I always felt weird about that house.

That house creeped me out. Partied there quite a bit.

Yes, I lived in that house in college. Between the Church and Cable Company, across from Fredonia Hotel.

There is some strange stuff in the garage. It's a 3 car garage and I can tell that they sheetrocked in a room just below the garage attic. It's gone now but they made so it had ventilation that goes into the attic. And just beside that is a 1.5 in bolt in the concrete with a logging chain attached to it. There is a magnolia tree in the back yard that also has a logging chain around it.

So you're thinking there was someone being held captive there? That died? And you never noticed this stuff before you bought the house? Hey, I'm thinking that was a marijuana grow room beneath the garage with the ventilation. The logging chains were to keep something valuable from walking off on its own.

I'd do a little research about the previous owners. Talk to some neighbors. See if they ever noticed anything unusual. Couldn't have been a death in the house as this would have to be disclosed prior to the sale. Or your/their agent is in deep chit.

It would have been a terrible grow room, the thought crossed my mind when I first saw it. The house is literally just your normal collin county house. Not like it was on a old burial ground. I don't thing anyone was being help captive, they could have done some damage to the drywall at least and it seems to be original.

New dry wall? Did a previous owner "bury" someone in the wall? It has happened before that someone got rid of a body by sealing it up inside a wall.

If they are not harmful, I would just say "Hi" to them and acknowledge their presence. We have a male and a female ghost that lives in our home that was built in 1926. No one other than my mother had died in the home that we know of, but we have seen them move stuff during the daytime. Of course, being the smart-alecks that we are, we acknowledge they moved the object and compliment them on doing a good job moving it. They have not been very active for a few years. Maybe they decided to cross over to the other side since we were no fun because we ignored their antics.

If it bothers Sherry and you do not want the kids talking to them, you could always have someone cleanse the house and even burn sage yourself in it from time to time to keep them away. Now my husband sees them from time to time, but I have never seen them but have seen them move stuff. Ignore them and they will become less active.

2006-2010...I don't think it's ever NOT been a party house.
