I had Grady and Butch out again today to do some fishing. Last time out we chased crappie up on Roberts. Today they wanted to try out the blue cat fishing on Lewisville. It did not disappoint them. Was a little slower than it has been early with the light and variable winds today. As the winds picked up a little so did the bite. They limited out by 12:15 with 49 blues and 1 channel. Lots of good eater sized fish and almost 3 gallons full of fillets. We pulled the boat out just minutes before the high winds kicked up. Perfect day on the lake. Only a few light showers this morning and we almost had the lake to ourselves. Really enjoyed having them out again and looking forward to their next outing. Don't know how they will top this one.
