On average how long does a bottle of dead red last y'all?

I have been using dead red for several years myself and mainly use it to refresh some good bait in case I am running low on bait. My preferred way is to keep a small container with a lid and pour about 1/2 of the bottle in the container and then put the pieces of bait in the container and shake it around and let it sit and absorb the liquid. I also use it on cut carp and buffalo as well. The bait absorbs very well and when you use the bait and reel it in after it's been sitting awhile you will still notice that the liquid is still on the bait. Some similar products that I've used in the past seem to wash out quickly but dead red works very well. I will say that the lakes I fish don't have much current so I can not say how it does with current. I like dead red but the only problem that I have is that it is getting tougher to find in the particular stores in the metro that I purchase it from. I generally don't like to order on line and won't drive to far for one item. A couple of weeks ago I was in my local Walmart and came across this catfish nectar and the price was comparable to dead red, however dead red comes in a 4oz bottle and the catfish nectar comes in a 8 oz bottle. I figured it wouldn't hurt to try it out. The nectar seems to be a slightly thicker liquid than the dead red but I wanted to see how it would stay on the bait so I used it the same way I always used the dead red. After sitting in the container for about 30 minutes I was impressed that the cut bait saturated it very well and after 30 minutes in the water when I reeled it in there was still signs of the liquid on the bait but not quite as much as the dead red holds. My personal opinion is I like the dead red better because I've used it with good success but if you can't find it then the nectar is a good substitute. I do like that it is in a 8oz bottle and I wish dead red was offered in a quart because like I stated earlier there has been times that I use 1/2 or even the full bottle on a trip.
