My boat was stolen, not recoverd. I had agreed value with Markel, they paid 5k for fishing stuff but now want to stick my homeowners with the 5k personal effects. My homeowners has 2500 deductible and covers 1000 for personal effects. To add insult I was with them for 5 years, no claims and they made me prepay the total amount before issuing a check. I BOUGHT ANOTHER BOAT!!! But now do I still have coverage or start from zero? I dont like suprises and feel missused seeing how they dont ever miss a payment, they auto deduct. Confused in florida

You need to contact them and let them know you have another boat. Then shop around. Should you find something better for your needs. cancel them.
