Went to Academy, Dick's, and Walmart today and they didn't have any Gulp Alive, except shrimp for saltwater at Academy. I'll have to wait until I need to order a few things to get some.

Walmart here in my town has plenty of Gulp Alive Night Crawlers both in thick and thin sizes. I also some jars of the minnows and leaches.

Gulp Alive products are the best. I have a jar of the thin night crawlers in my tackle box. Do not use them a lot but when I do they usually get good results.

Not having seen them, I'm confused about what to order to get the "thin" ones. Banker, or anyone, can you tell me what to look for on the bottle so I will know it is the thin nightcrawler?

If you order put the 1.1 oz/31g as the ones you want.

Found the 1.1 oz Gulp Alive Worms on Amazon. They had them listed for $2.99 a jar!

Gulp! Alive! is some really good stuff and I use it often now. I use the crickets, minnows and larvae. I really like the fry, but they stopped making it. I've caught loads of crappie, bluegill and black bass on them.
The one I want to try next is the Lunkerhunt Bait Jars. The Spade Grub and the May Bug are the basic presentations I use with the scent infused stuff anyway so I'll probably make the switch.

Jagg, let us know what you think of the Lunkerhunt baits after you try them. The only reviews I could find were on Amazon and they were mixed. Would like to hear what someone on our forum says after trying them. I ordered a jar of Gulp Alive angleworms yesterday. Dumb me, I had been thinking an angleworm was a different kind of worm from an earthworm or nightcrawler. Finally looked it up and learned the word angleworm just means it is a worm used for angling/fishing. I continue to amaze myself at how much I DON'T know! Anyway, I'll soon have a jar of Gulp Alive worms to use when I don't have live bait.

Thanks Banker. It will be good having an artificial bait with me when I don't have the real thing. Knowing the product has worked for you gives me confidence it is a good choice.

I was fishing around White Rock Lake with artificial one afternoon and just getting nothing but the skunk. I decided to at least bag a bluegill to say I did something, so I went to the quieter area which has a branch off of the main spillway, switched to a light setup, and rigged a bobber. I decided to try the bottle of Berkley Gulp Alive white maggots I had in my tacklebox for bait. I saw another guy fishing for bluegills for catfish bait with beef jerky, so I figured the Gulp white maggots should work. I decided to start from the spillway and work my way back to the parking lot. Eye-balled the depth and lobbed the rig out there. I get a hit and figure great a little bluegill to call it a day. The thing start peeling drag. THAT IS NO BLUEGILL. I land the sucker and it is a 3lbs channel cat. I posted it here: http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...ed#Post12170004

Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he will sit in a boat all day and drink beer.
