So, I was down in Espada Park, and was fishing Espada Dam. Wildman of the Navidad recommended it to me. I like the area. caught a whole bunch of sunfish on my fly rod. But, fair warning, that is a rough side of town. I was standing outside my truck smoking a cigarette when Park Police pulled someone over. The officer pulled to guy out of the car and was initiating an arrest for two felony warrants, the guy took off and started running toward my vehicle and I tackled the hell out of him. lol. We fell into the small creek that runs along the San Antonio River and the guy jumps up and takes off, myself on the officer were chasing him, but we lost him. Again, great place to fish. Seems like a decent area. If anyone has any hints or tips for that area, I would appreciate it. sunfish is all I can get to bite out there.
