I had Ray and Haley out today on Lewisville chasing some blue cats. The light winds early slowed the bite down a little this morning. As the wind picked up so did the bite. We started out with a long drift that yielded 25 keepers and one nice 36" slot fish. Left my scale in the truck so didn't get to weight her. 2 more shorter drifts finished out the 50 fish limit. Also Haley caught a 18 1/4" and 20" hybrid to add to the cooler. They left with 3 gallons of fillets for a big family fish fry. Really enjoyed having them out on this beautiful day on the water. If you want to catch a lot of eater blues now is the best time to do it on Lewisville. The crappie and white bass bites are great right now as well. I have some open spots this week and next to fill your freezer with fish.
