Thanks Curtis and Pot licker for the replies. Curtis: There are plenty of Greens on the Guadalupe River and in the river lakes. The lakes are so big you do not catch all that many. As for the Green Hybrid that is the first one I have seen caught on the Guadalupe and Lake Dunlap!

Nice fishing guys! Bet those Carp fights were awesome especially on the UL. Also Congratulations to the Wild man of the navidad on his is two records. Regular records are hard enough to get much less a State Record. Good job.



Side Note: Just goes to show you that you never know what is on the line while fishing the river lakes. How many sunfish have you caught over the years using corn? Especially record sunfish.

Thanks Gitter for the reply. You are right on about not knowing what you are going to catch while fishing the Guadalupe River! As for catching record fish on corn? I personally have never gotten a record fish using corn! Clayton picked up three very nice records including a State record using corn! I am sure there were other records where corn was the bait.
