Decided to try Somerville w my 2 college buddies thid weekend. Had not ever fished here before so we hired Michael Richardson with lake Livingston adventures. Excellent choice to say the least! Caught over 400 sand bass. Kept 75 big ones. Learned so much about the lake and especially how to use my new Helix side Imaging. Good times w great friends!

Good trip Scotty!! Hybrids will starts to group up at structures once the lake water temp rises significantly. Water is still very cool allowing them Hybrids to roam all over the lake. I had friends reporting they've seen hybrids tailing like red fish in two three feet of water in back coves chasing perches and catching a few. I'll post up some reports and pics when water temps does gets hot and happened. Each lake is a little different and that's just the way fish behaves some times on Somerville. I got clients waiting to go on tutoring trips but restraint from booking till them hybrids is more predictable. I've seen a bunch of decent schools busting the surface last year just before the winter so they should still be here some where.

Thanks Scotty for booking a trip! I had a blast! It's nice every once in a while fishing a another lake. I hope y'all learned plenty about how to read the humminbird and learn the lake.
