Congrats on the young man for that big gar. Must be a Jr. angler record.
The current world record is 9 lbs 12oz Rick Rivard Lake Mevia, TX April 7, 1994
I caught one on a jug line last year in Lake Bonham that would have been near the world record. Sure was a purdy fish. Released back to lake.
