Does anyone use these reels? If so how well do you like them can you compare to anything else? I have been using Lews and Abu for a while but am in need of a new reel and saw these
Looking at the Concept A

I've herd goods and bads. I had the inception for a bit but ended up returning it and getting another lews. My buddy has the c and it casts good and is pretty smooth. Another thing is that if you take them apart there are more small parts in them then any other reel I've seen. I personally will stick with lews and abu but just give it a shot if you want it bad enough.

I have around 10 of them. Love them. They set up great and are very smooth. They fit in my hand great also. I have a few abu and lews and I rank them right there with them.

I have 8 of them 2 C's, 5 E's and a KP and I love them more than my Lew's and Shimano, but to each their own.

Buy an abu vendetta rod instead

my 13 fishing rod broke plus academy will replace the vendettas

I have an "E", a TX, and two "C"s.
I really like them.
I like my Lews also but the Concepts are smaller and have a stronger drag.

I love all my 13 fishing products. Their customer service is top notch as well. Haven't had any issues with my reels, but have broken a few rods. Depending on what happened, they replaced for free or offered me a new one at $50 when the break was totally my fault

I bought one at APT when they first came out that piece of junk broke in half casting a 1/8oz shakey head the rod was less then 24hrs old when it broke since then I will only use abu/shimano!

I had a Concept A and used it for 2 years. It was just ok. Love the profile and handle design. I ended up selling it and went to Daiwa Type R instead. Love it way more! I do have about 8 of their rods and they are good. Durability is an issue though as I have broke a few and have also had guides break off. The Omen 2's are definitely more durable but still guides are a little weak.

I have a bunch of the reels and really like them.

I have one concept A and one Inception reel, I absolutely love the reels! Have performed very well, however I've had a problem with my inception once when I had a spring break so the release button on my reel wouldn't work. But I sent it in and they quickly fixed it and customer service was great!
