Texas - Oklahoma Patriot Shootout, Lake Lewisville April 29th!!


This tournament is for disabled veterans from every branch of service. We will have 15 veterans from Oklahoma and 15 from Texas. We are looking for boaters to take the veterans fishing for the day and compete. There is no entry fee required and you will not win prize money. You are donating your time, boat, and fishing experience to help out a disabled vet. We want you to fish like its a team tournament, but have fun and give the veteran a memorable experience on the water. The veterans win prizes and bragging rights. If you are coming from out of town, we will provide lodging and accommodations.

There will be a meet and greet dinner for the veterans on Friday, April 28th at the VFW in Lake Dallas. You will get paired up with the veteran your fishing with on Saturday. The tournament will be held out of Sycamore Bend Park on April 29th.

Clay is right. We need more boaters. I have been doing this tournament since its beginning 7-8 years now. Plus I am a retired Navy veteran and it is always a pleasure taking another vet out fishing. You will make a life long friend too. Trust me this is one event you dont want to miss. It is well worth your time. SO sign up and I will see you Friday night at the dinner.

I really enjoyed doing this event last time and taking out a Veteran and is felt even better that we won the Big Bass. Wished it feel on a different weekend so I could participate. Good luck to those in it, and watch out for the weather on the Lew.

Guys I had to drop out do to finally selling my boat yesterday and not being able to pick my other one up until Next week. Someone please help out and get these guys on the water.

I fished this tournament last year on the Texas team. Had a great time. Last year it was on Texas - OU weekend which made it more fun. Great food, great tournament, and great door prizes for everyone. Thanks to all of you who make this possible especially Al at Networking for Warriors. A special thanks to you guys who furnish your boat and time to take a vet fishing.
