After catching nothing but little ones on different parts of the lake and in different depths for two days, I finally had some decent luck yesterday afternoon in Williams Creek. Broadcast some soured bird feed (seed) over an area 3-4 ft. deep off the bank. Tied up away from the spot and used my Catfish Candy punch bait with a bobber about two ft. deep and caught 18 decent sized fish in an hour. Hung one that decided to head to the house before I could adjust the drag and commenced to break my 30 lb. braided line with no sweat.

Ok I went to Fork yesterday and the fish are scattered. I was fishing on one of my favorite locations and Stubby pulled up and was watching me fish. I buy tons of bait from him. He made a couple of suggestions on my technique and it did in fact improve my catch rate. So for the day I cleaned 16 channel catfish and have some good fillets this trip also. You cannot beat Stubbys cheese bait for catfish in my opinion.
