going by your user name.. you have a skeeter??
which most likely has a slide master.

if so.. loosen the bolts on the side of the plate. then use a wrench or socket,etc
to tighten the bolt in the center to raise or loosen to lower.
then measure both sides to make sure it's straight.
then tighten down both sides.
