Just returned from 5 1/2 days of fishing there. Best five was 51 lbs...best fish was 12-6. I've got pictures but gotta get some help getting them on here. Hopefully get it done soon so keep your powder dry. Super sized plastics were the ticket to success.

Your more than welcome. I have to ask. Would you mind sharing a few techniques that you were using to get the Big Bass?

I'll be there in 4 (long) weeks, LOL, and I want one of those BAD!!!! Been there twice already, and 10 even is my best. We talked with some experienced guys down there last trip that say May, June, & July, the lake is lower, and the fish stack up on points & channels, and a good bunch of REALLY big ones are caught at that time. Can't wait

Ok here's the scoop Lake level is about 42%, fairly low for this time of the year. There are none of those floating plants we dealt with several years ago...they are gone. Water clarity is 2-4 feet depending on where you are. Weather was great. Cool in the early morning and comfortably warm the rest of the day...a bit cooler than normal I'd say. Early morning success was using a weightless mag fluke in less than 10 fow with some timber...deep water nearby helped a lot. As soon as the sun hits the water, we switched to wacky and Texas mag senko. Wacky was used to target suspended fish in deep water. Texas was used on long points in 12-25 fow. Once the wind blows, deep cranks we're the ticket. As always, wmr color always works and don't forget the garlic, chart spike it. Hope this helps.

Nice job. Those were some beautiful fish and it just doesn't get much better. Glad you guys had a wonderful trip with the huge fish. Hope to go with you someday. Thanks, Donald
