Has anyone attempted this on their own? Mine got some twine tangled in on the cable winding drum and it jumped track. Now it's backlashed. I cant visibly see how it should be rewound, and couldn't find a schematic for it online.

There are special tools that you will need to work on those. You will be better off to take it to a MinnKota ASC near by to have them do it for you.
