On the next door app there's a lot of dispute about what these giant flagpole looking things are there popping up all over town. They have nothing on them with the exception of a soccer ball sized ball at the top that's bronze. They appear to be about 65 feet tall. I know the OT knows what they are.

Someone has said lightning rods. Also heard new kinda cell tower, tornado siren (odd no speakers), something to call the mothership in and cameras to monitor us (bunker types).
But nobody seems to know definitively.
I bet someone on here knows. Yall know all.

Are there any gas wells nearby them? No. One is next to an elementary school and one of them is behind a shopping center.

There's one by our VFW. It has electrical stuff going to it. I would think radio antenna.
On the bunker type subject, I was pulling out of our street onto the loop in town and saw one of the longest wide loads I've ever seen. It was cylindrical but completely wrapped in black plastic. There were black suburbans ahead and behind it and a police escort. I wouldn't have thought twice about it except for the black suburbans.

I am going with antenna since they went to the trouble to fence in around it.
could be an artsy thing to hide them.
couple of suburbs around denver made the cell cos. create fake trees for the cell antenna relays.

They put same one up in Home Depot lot in Frisco off El Dorado.
I believe they are cell phone tower or antenna, and it also serves as a flagpole.

Saw some pictures of some very similar apparatus, that's what it is
