I had an awesome day yesterday on Lake Lewisville! I struggled to find crappie for now going on a month, all while going on this forum everyday seeing anglers catch nice size crappie. I'm still new to the Dallas area when it comes to fishing but I've just used my instincts that I've learned from most of my life being an avid angler. I caught 21 keepers and only two were under 10 inches.

I was at Little Elm Park near "a cove" using minnows and a slip bobber. I used a slip bobber so I can always adjust the depth of the minnow whenever I changed locations to punch into another brush pile. I did catch one on a Panfish Assassin shad jig with a chartreuse jig head bouncing it maybe an inch of two off the bottom.

It was a great day and it seemed like Jesus just kept giving me His great favor on that day with catching so many after so many crappie rip failures as of late.
