Think a chatterbait would be good today; maybe I'll rig one up

They were pretty aggressive on Fork today. Water temps have not fallen much at all.

Fished for 4 hours on Whitney today. Cold wind and rough water made it tough on the fishermen but the fishing was good. Water temp 71 air temp 59. Caught 32 bass and striper on slow rolling spinner.

They still bit on Fork again today. Even saw a few bed fish later in the day.

I've typically found that the fish are active right before, during, and for several hours after a cold frontal passage. We fished all day Saturday and most of the day Sunday and that theory held true. The fish were absolutely chomping Saturday in the wind, rain, and clouds. Sunday was a much, much tougher day with bluebird skies, somewhat lighter north winds, and higher barometric pressure that peaked around late morning.

I found they bit just as good on Sunday as Saturday. But, they were 5-6ft deeper. Saturday was good in 20'ft...Sunday was 25 ft and hard bottoms. C rig

.
Were you at Pool? I fished Sunday and could only manage one bite. It was 3-4 ft. Fished 1-30 ft and threw everything but a c-rig.
