I had Tommy out today on Lewisville showing him areas to find and catch white bass. After driving all over the lake marking white bass that didn't seem to want to really bite today we decided to try out some crappie. Fished 2 spots the last 2 hours and the bite was really good. Boated a lot of small fish and ended up with 12 nice big crappie in the cooler. He had a giant 15" 2 lber as well. He also had a 17.5" hybrid, few sandies and a largemouth as well. Nice finish after the beating the wind gave us today. All crappie caught on jigs in 8-20 ft of water on the bottom. I have some spots open next week to fish Lewisville or Ray Roberts. Both are fishing really good.
