Fished Medina today from eight till one.. Caught 36 fish while driving around dodging the raindrops. Baby brush hog or 5 inch lizard in W/M red with the tail spiked green caught em good. Could not catch fish in dirty water. 45 degree angle banks where runoff had not stained the water was best.. Near bushes was certainly better.. Gonna hit em again tomorrow if it ain't raining. .
All small fish! But I kinda knew that going in..

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be launching from Red's tomorrow. If you see a blue Stratos floating around out there feel free to stop and chat. Tight lines!

Thanks for the report! There are some tanks in there still for sure, but it takes some time. Good luck!

Fished today from 8 till 1.
Fished a lot of different water than yesterday trying to find some bigger fish.. It didn't happen. Only caught 22..
Blue bird day.. Great to be on the water.. Caught eight or so on a 2.5 square bill in SX Shad.. Rocky points..

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder just how deep the bigger fish are living.

Add 20' is a good rule for that lake

Add 20' is a good rule for that lake I've been catching fishing down to 32' ft deep, I'm thinking you're correct. I might have to try some 40'-50' depths.

I have caught a black bass right off the bottom in 86' of water a couple months ago. I don't know anyone who has tried that deep. Fish was 13" and big eyed when I released him. Dove straight back down where he came from. It was a school actively feeding. After identifying what species it was,I moved on. He only fought first 15-20' up,then just felt like a log. Can't be healthy to pull them up from that depth so fast,or at all? Graph looked typical white bass feeding on shad. No,I can't make this stuff up.

I haven't tried to fish that deep out there and usually hang out in the 0-40' range. The past few times I've been out there most of my fish have come out of 15-25'. We did catch a few in about 6" of water as well so I honestly have no idea where they like to hang out at. Medina is one of the strangest lakes I've ever fished but I love going out there.

If the guy in the nice ski boat that has a trolling motor on the front (has to be a 6' shaft) is here on the forum,he was casting distance from me. But didn't look happy with me being there. I marked fish early in the day and just came by to check the spot but he was there. We pulled up and he got that face. Anyone know how long it takes for two 1/16oz feather crappie jigs to hit the 86' bottom? Long time
