Back for more...This time not so good...fished from 7:30 to 1:00, when we got run off the lake by coming storms. Glad we did...poured on us all the way back to New Braunfels, with lots of lightening. Ended up with 22 bass. Overall bite was not as aggressive as last week, and overall, fish were smaller, except for the 4.2 lber in the pic with nephew Andy. Water temp up to 84 degrees (+4 degrees from last week). Most caught in trees and on tank dams. Last year (2016) the water temp did not get this warm until 5/24/16, so they may be moving deep already...oh well, it's been fun...

Nice one. The water temp is crazy. I had those same readings last week, but move thirty yards and the temp was much lower. I started to go today but my daughter has a softball game tonight, their last one, so I stayed home to go watch it.

Tank dams are tanks that are now under water as the lake filled up. A stock tank.

So a tank dam would be like an under water pond as far as looking on depth finder - kind of like a hole?
