Going to fish Lake Grenada in June and was wanting to know any fishing guides you would recommend for there. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I'm sure they are others but John Harrison is the only name that I have heard. Google a little cal bait shop in Grenada and give them a call. Personally that time year I would be pulling crankbaits on the humps in main lake and forget the guide.

When I worked for the NWS in Jackson, MS, I lived right by Ross Barnett Reservoir, but only big crappie I caught was in Pelahatchie Bay (east side, east of the spillway and Pearl River) in the Spring (spawn).

I have been to Grenada, MS a few times and it's a beautiful area like Brandon, MS, with a ton of tall pines and oaks. Also heard there's MONSTER crappie in that lake.

A buddy of mine from school goes to fish with Brandon Fulgham a week every year. They catch some monsters. Grenada is on the to do list someday. thumb

John Harrison...no questions about it. Lives right there, guides right there, and is a first class guy! Wes and I know him personally.
