I have a couple of days to fish Ivie next week and was wondering what the fish were doing? Spawn-post spawn?
It's been a couple of years since I've been. If the fishings no good I know where to find an awesome hamburger.
Thanks

My wife and I fished for about 3 hours on Saturday. We had some luck on windblown points(wind was from the south, so the points on the north side of the lake, but depending on when you go, there may be a north wind that day, according to the forecast). Best depth was around in 5-8' of water, along the flooded brush line. Caught most of them on cranks. Nothing big, largest was a 3.5 pounder, but fun for sure! Good luck.

Thanks bassinbiker, I plan on fishing Sunday with a north wind and Monday with a south wind. I usually fish from turkey bend down to the dam.

Welcome, we found most of them on the points just north or t-bend, just off the river.

35ft low, still plenty of water and easy to navigate if you have some common sense.

I have fished it from Normal pool to 48 ft low. Still a fun lake to fish.

SO, is the fishing good yet, or is it still terrible?

It's definitely a lot tougher to catch the big fish but they are still in there and are still on the ledges and humps so if you can talk your self in to fishing a little deeper Carolina rigged ledges and humps !!
