Let me throw this out there; a friend of mine is upgrading his electronics on his boat and he bought the following units;

Solix 12 Chirp Mega SI GPS and a Helix 10 Chirp Mega SI GPS, can these units be interlinked together?

Thanks,
Kevin

Yes, they can be connected together with Ethernet to share only waypoints.

Need the AS EC QDE Ethernet adapter for the Helix.

Helix 8 MEGA SI+ GPS G4N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, MEGA LIVE TL, RC-1

He is also thinking about buying the TM 360 Imaging, will the 360 show up on both units or just the one at the bow?

The 360 is an Ethernet accessory, but I have not tried to display it on both model series so I don't know if both can view the 360 at the same time. They can individually.

He would need the AS ETH 5PXG Ethernet switch to have enough connections for both displays and the 360. The 360 comes with a 20' Ethernet cable, would need two more Ethernet cables for the displays to connect to the switch.

Not sure about the helix line, but with my 2 onix units I can display the 360 on both units at the same time. I believe I can make changes to it from either unit also.

I have an AS ETH 5PXG Ethernet switch with a 798, 998, 1199, 360 and Ultrex i-Pilot Link on it.

All communicate and work together just fine. 360 shows up on all graphs. Make sure that all graphs and accessories are at the latest software revision. Mismatched software revisions can get glitchy.

I have Lakemaster chips in all. On the home PC I have AutoChart Pro and use the recordings from my graphs to improve my sweet-spots on lakes. I'm just starting the mapping but can see how it would be a great advantage down the road.
