I had several guide trips booked over the weekend and Cedar Creek didn't disappoint! Cedar Creek is fishing better than it has in several years and as my great uncle likes to say when its on "you had to hide from the fish to bait your hook" The white bass bite is on fire all over the lake with 22'-25' being my best depth for stacks of fish. Don't count out that evening bite as lots of birds are working the mid lake area every evening. The hybrids are on the bank early busting the spawning shad and then stacking up on 15' structure later in the day. We hit the early morning bulkhead bite on Friday and ended up with one heck of a mixed bag. If you have never done it you should try it, or better yet try it with me! Several trips have been catch and release for hybrids which is always encouraged, but I don't mind filling your freezer either because they sure are good to eat when prepared correctly. All these consecutive years of hybrid stocking is really paying off, the lake is full of them, if you want to learn how to target them I'm your huckleberry. Gotta love this time of year!

Little brother is holding his own down south. He wont get jealous until I hit him with pics from the coast on our annual trip the first week of May!
