Seen a bunch of guys like Flukemaster and a guy on Honeyhole tv using the same rods on all baitcasters and they were white. Was wondering if there cheaper cause ive been looking to buy a good set of rods

Bill on Honey Hole uses Bass Pro Shops white rods
Ike uses Abu Garcia
Tim Horton uses Duckett rods

Lews also makes a white Rod.

Find a place that sells them and play with them till you figure out what you like. I just picked up a Abu Garcia 7'6" Veritas 2 winch cranking rod and LOVE it. And I'm picky about my cranking rods.

I have a white Veritas, two white Ducketts, and a white Bass Pro Carbonlite. All really good rods at about 100 dollars each.

Just got 2 Veritas 2 roads from Tackle Warehouse and used them this weekend. I now wish my stubbornness and not prevented me from split grip EVA handle rods. The rods are really nice and on sale for 80 bucks they are even better.

Bill Wilcox uses Johnny Morris Carbonlite from Bass Pro. Iaconelli's are Abu's, don't know about Flukemaster

Flukemaster used to use Duckett Ghosts and Micro Magics. Then they had some kind of falling out and now ol' Gene is with 13 Fishing and I don't believe they have any white rods out there yet. Bamabass still uses Ducketts though.

Carbonlites have a 1-year over the counter warranty w/ BPS although from my experience, if you complain loud enough, you'll probably get away with longer. Duckett Ghosts have a 1-year warranty you have to register and send the rod in, and I believe their MMs have a 5-year warranty. Can't talk to you about Abu's but I assume it's 1-year for the cheaper ones and 5-year for the higher end stuff. Only lifetime warranty rods I know of are Loomis, TFO, Dobyns, and Daiwa. I personally wouldn't go with any of those rods, since I think Dobyn's Fury or Daiwa's Tatulas are some of the best rods for the money (sub $120).

Veritas is under rated. Great rods with excellent components

I have both Duckett and Veritas, they are both top notch rods, about the same price. I prefer the Duckett, probably because I have them on my Duckett reels.
