I was hoping that we had someone on here that worked with Costa since I have a pair of Man O Wars that I fish with 3 or 4 days per week that I can't do without and want to purchase the arms (temples and tips) for. Really did'nt want to send them in, in fear of not getting them back.

You may contact customer service and ask if they will send you some replacements. You will probably have to send the in and have them replaced. We usually have some parts when we are at the Skeeter Owners event in June, if you can wait that long

Thanks for responding Ken. I don't have a problem buying them and replacing them myself. With that said I won't send them in, since I may not get them back.

they always give you the option to pay to repair them if they aren't covered under warranty

I will share this as well. The Costa repair team will be at Texas Bass fest on Rayburn in May , like they were at the Classic. If you have glasses in need of repair stop by and see them if you are in the area. It is the weekend of May 17-21

I have sent mine in twice and both times got them back no problem.. You first go online and open a ticket.. It is tracked the entire time and will send you updates.. It is really a nice program they have..

I recently sent in a pair of mine for repair. It took about 10 days for them to perform the assessment. I got an email stating that they would not warranty some of the issues. They also said that it was going to cost me roughly $120 to replace them. I called them to verify this and the representative told me they would send me a new pair for $69.99 + shipping. I'm not sure where the pricing mixup came from but I ended up getting a brand new pair of glasses for about half the original cost. With that being said it did take almost a month to complete the process.

Seems slightly paranoid.

I have the Man O Wars also. I think they have discontinued them. I would call and talk with them to see what you could do. I would be hesitant to send them in also.

There is no reason to be scared to send them in. I have sent in multiple pair and have always got them back, plus as mentioned earlier you can track the whole process on line. As someone else said I recommend you buy another pair as back up if your that pairanoid. I

I'm not sure I understand the hesitation on sending your glasses back to Costa? I talked to the repair guys at the Classic after they fixed the pair I was wearing, and they told me to send in my other Costas. I sent them in and they got them back to me in two weeks. It can all be tracked on line, they will call or email you if they have any issues with the repairs also...

I think he is saying he's not sure he'll get the model he likes back, since it has been discontinued. He is worried they will total them and offer him a new pair instead.

Correct, the Man On Wars have been discontinued. That's why he doesn't want to send them in.
