Well i have been able to fish every weekend for the past 5 with good friend Banderspass and we got into some good sand bass fishing this spring. Some days we would catch 25 or 30 and most days we would get way over 100. I was using the fly rod with the clouser most of the time but we did use minnows on the tuff days. Also made an appearance at rowlett creek one day ( first time in 4 years nothing has changed --LOL-- ) but was able to catch a hybrid on the fly rod and that was a rush.. Any way that's a rap for me this spring i will be heading back out to the lake.

If you are fishing Rowlett Creek, I may have passed you on my bike riding along the bank. This would be near/at the Rowlett Creek Preserve area just south of Firewheel Pkwy.

I've never seen so many fisherman along the creek before.

I'll be hitting Breckenridge soon, and the bike trail sooner.
