I've got the ascend D10 and Vibe SG130. I need to load them on my 14' 1500 chevy. I've got a sit in toolbox, which is great when hauling just the ascend. I put it upside down with two straps and it works great.
However, when I want to haul both, I'm thinking I need a rack system for above the bed of the truck. Any and all suggestions welcome.
Seems there are lots of options so I want to know what you guys use to get better feedback.
Post any pictures of what you've got!

I have a 2015 Silverado 6ft bed with a tool box I can carry up to four kayaks with a bed extender and a 4X4 piece of wood here is how. I take and put my predator 13 and Pescador 12 in the bed under the tool box and on top of the bed extender. I then take the 4X4 and place it on the back of the bed where the holes are in the top of the bed rails, I put three screws in the wood to go into the holes of the bedrails to keep it from sliding around. I can then put my Jackson Coosa and Caper on top of the toolbox and 4X4 and strap them down. All kayaks are sitting upright
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst

Tincan86 where did you have your rack made if I might ask? Will it transport 3 kayak's? I already had the original bed extender, I had a buddy weld up the top "T" part of it last week. This past weekend I had 4 kayaks on my truck, a Cuda 14 and ocean kayak caper on the bottom, then an old town predator 13 and perception pescador 12 on the top worked great. The 4X4 piece of wood is missing in this picture but I just got back from the ER when I took the picture. I will get more pictures of it next time I use it
Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst

Thanks for the quick and informative reply tincan86. The versatility of your setup really caught my eye. I am just now thinking of getting into the kayaking sport and want to learn all I can before I commit. Being 80 years old, I am looking for a transporting system that will allow me to transport a solo kayak as well as handle up to three kayaks when my son and daughter-in-law are able to join me. We have all moved to Aransas Pass now and want to take advantage of the wonderful fishing opportunities in the area. Any additional pictures and advice would be greatly appreciated.
