Caught my first one the other day wey different fight than common carp

Caught my first one the other day wey different fight than common carp You should have seen where he caught it! 50 foot cliffs and water falls!

I fished jackson nature park yesterday snakes were out in full force you should of seen it reppeled down a 12ft bank using a grapevine then had too swim 20 ft upstream cause my crocs had no traction ahh the things I do for a few dink blugill.I love getting to a spot then wondering how the heck I'm going to get out landig the fish doesn't concern me I'll get in with em I'll only be young for so long thoe

Wow! those are some piggies.
For carp, I usually buy special flour (sold at local Korean fishing stores). Mix it with a tad of vanilla, for some additional scent, and it works wonders on carp. Just don't know what to do with them - since they aren't good for eating. Most of the time, release them back in the water.
I had carp bite even on trout powerbait (garlic scent).

Nice fish guys! Chuck it looks like you are getting into Carp fishing! Knowing you your ultra lights are going to be getting a good workout. Have you fished the east side. Been seeing a lot of fish slapping the water!

Thanks Curtis for the reply. I have not fished the east side much this year. I do plan on fishing a lot of the river a lot.

Crappie bite has slowed down. Sunfish bite is picking up. Also been seeing alot of Carp topping the water.
