Snuck out about 4am finally got me some shad caught and some perch . Still here still nothing on the stringer . My spot is covered with turtles !!!! Sucks I have no idea why I bother even fishing here . Rant over lol

Was there three hours on Friday and did not have a single strike. Fished for "whiskers" by the boat ramp.

Ive been catching a ton of 12 to 14 inch channels. Cant get away from them and the small bass while crappie fishing. I probably caught ten in an hour this morning

Hell yah I'm Gona have to get me one or one of those Pelicans im not trying to creel on your spots or anything but where are you fishing at and what bait tackle ect... Be nice to get some insight on this lake never had much luck on it . I can go to twok or cedar creek lake pat or whatever with the same technique and tear them up still trying to find my for niche cats on Alvarado I'm going for blues but I can make do with channels ....

Minnows and shad is what i was catching them on. One foot under a bobber close to shorelines or cat tails. The best one yeaterday came off my jug line it was around two pounds. I might bw back out friday if i dont have to work and its not too windy

Maybe that's my issue been fishin off the bottom msybe try to float em . Well hit me up Friday if Ya get bored I'll probablly be at the boat ramp to the south in blue water oaks .

Was back out again today. Caught several keeper channels. Kept enough for about four pounds of fillets. Best channel was in the 4 pound range. All caught a foot and a half under a bobber on minnows and shad. Even caught two on crappie jigs.

That'll work had to work late yesterday and workin today as well maybe get out there tommorw grabbed me some slip floats and punch bait Gona try it out
