Anyone using 13 Fishing rods? Was checking them out the other day at Cabelas and was wondering how they have performed. The 13 Fishing Defy Black seemed decent for a $60 rod. Been considering a new Stcroix bass X 7'4" Mh and was curious how the 13 fishing omen 7'3" MH compares.

I have the 13 Fishing Omen Black 30 ton and find it pretty sensitive for the price. I got a real good deal on it. I would pay the extra money to get a Fate or Omen 2 - the high density graphite will make a difference. Just my two cents. If you are new to the sport and on a tight budget, I've been there too..

Go all the way and get the 13 Envy. Very strong and sensitive. I have three med/heavy, and two heavy envy rods 7'3" and 7'6"

You get what you pay for with 13 fishing. I have like 2 envy rods and about 4 medium rods I very seldom use. I can say there warrenty works and the more you pay for one of there rods the better it will be and handle. Stay away from there cheap rod as much as possible because if you don't you'll be using there warrenty pretty often.

You get what you pay for, cheaper is not always better.
