Thought I'd share a story:

Earlier this year I was headed to the lake one afternoon. Of course, Murphy's Law was in full swing and my boat wouldn't crank. An older gentleman came over and asked if I needed any help? I told him it looks like my cranking battery finally bit the dust and he offered to give me his. I offered to pay him and he told me that he planned on buying a new one anyways and to just promise that I would pay it forward when I had the chance.

Recently, I posted my old trolling motor on here to try and reduce the pain of purchasing a new one. Well somebody PM'd me and asked if I could trade a bunch of stuff for it or reduce the price. He mentioned his broke and his daughter had a high school tournament the upcoming weekend. I used it as my opportunity to pay it forward and just gave him the trolling motor. Now I know there will be 5 pages of comments of how I am an idiot and got scammed, but Fishvibestv's recent post about his new boat and all the support he got from other anglers got me motivated to share more stories of anglers helping each other out.

Hope everyone catches some GIANTS this weekend.
