Tried bank fishing for few hours after work yesterday @ Hidden Cove Park - Lake Lewisville. My 12 year old was able to land his first nice sized bass and a decent Crappie. Used minnows and floaters. He was a happy camper. Both fish were released. Going to Tawak end of April for a guided fishing trip and he cannot wait.

wow that's a nice crappie. Pretty good start my friend. Keep going, this is one good hobby you could continue for your entire life, at time it is a necessity, survival, passion, getaway, reflection and many more. Proud of you and your Dad. Good job.
