[img] http://s1127.photobucket.com/user/markchat66/media/boat.jpg.html[img] Got this from a neighbor for a really great price. Sat for 4 years. After getting 130 psi on all cylinders I bought it. Changed all the fluids and rebuilt the carbs today. Runs like new now. Still needs carpet and seats. So these are my questions. Is Dallas Canvas and Boat Tops a good place to go? Which side scan to get? Would you use a spray on bed liner material instead of carpet? Any advice would be great.

You got a steal. But them again, a boat is just a hole in the water you constantly have to throw money into.
Said by the man who has replaced both trolling motor batteries and whose boat is currently in the shop after the trolling motor main board went kaput. This has been an expensive year already
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

I'm thinking Helix 10 and a new trolling motor. Shut up and Fish the place to go?

When my carpet gives out, I am gonna put that rubber tire stuff in it. I forget the name of the company that does it, but TBox (Therrmocline Lures at Lake Fork) has it in his 24 ft boat...that stuff is the bomb...I contacted the company earlier in the year, they said around $15 buck a square foot...a price I thought was very reasonable, given you never have to mess with it again, you can fish barefooted on it, and you can spray it clean at the car wash ...that is an option for you...it is my only serious option when it time to change the carpet.
Shut up and fish is the way to go...he can get you on the water faster/as cheaply as anyone, even if you do it yourself...that is why he stays so busy...
