Well guys it's a new year and the 2016 thread was way too long so here goes the new one. Lake Fork is shaping up to have one of her best years in a while. Already a couple giants have been caught on really the first warming trend of the year. Fishing is just about to bust loose. We had a great end of the week and weekend considering the cold nights. Fish were caught in shallow spawning pockets and flats on moving baits. I don't have anymore dates for March, but do have some availability in April. Some pics of the last couple days.

Rainy Day Fork Update:

Well we got 6+ inches here at the lake and water is coming into the lake like no other. Lots of fish have already spawned so this new water is going to give the babies plenty of area to hide. What I'm most excited about is this is in perfect time for frog fishing. It's going to make the lake a frog fishing Mecca for the next several weeks all the way to the end of May. If you guys want to see some crazy good frog fishing give me a call. I have only about 10 days left for May. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks

Ok guys summer time fishing has officially set in and the fish have stacked up out deep. I am again going to run special split day trips for the guys and gals that don't or can't handle the Texas heat. These trips go from 5:45 - 10am, take a break in the middle of the day, then hit the water 5pm - dark. These trips run the same as my full day rates. If interested please don't hesitate to call. Also have lodging if needed.

It's hot in Texas but the fishing is on fire too. Lake Fork deep bite is going down right now. I only have a couple dates left in August so if you want to go donkey hunting give me a shout.

I run private lake trips as well. Great for kiddos and women. Fork is producing some great fish right now as well. Let me know if I can help guys.

So all the hunting shows are over. I have some days open if you guys want to fish Fork or come out to our private lake. Had 2 college guys yesterday about to head back to school. We caught 61 bass from 6 am - 2 pm all between 3-7 lbs. on frogs and soft plastic swim baits.

That private lake is a SWEET set up... Grass, timber, etc. I need to put my bow down and get to it one day soon! But, that's hard to concentrate on bass fishing when you have those monster deer walking around!
