Had to play hookie from work to find a decent day with decent wind. The wind just had been absolutely brutal lately on weekends .

Took some newbie out for some slabing and they were absolutely blown away with how easy it is to catch fish on a slab. I'm sure they are hooked and will want to come back for more.

We released a lot of small stripers too!!

School were so thick these guys were hooking fish up side down,in the eyes,on the sides and places where a hook shouldn't be.

Sent them home with a mess of fish.

Caught some bonus hybrids too!! They are a real treat to be hooking up on some hybrids at LL. Hybrids are not stocked here at LL. I wonder where they came from and how many had migrated here ?

I couldn't resist throwing the umbrella rigs.

These fish are like piranhas

Don't forget to visit THE CAFE at Indian Hill next to the public boat ramp. They now have an excellant full menue including some fine dinning like wine steaks grill snappers and grill salmon, and BBQ ribs just to name a few. Burgers and sandwiches, salad and soups, pies and all shorts of deserts.
They even have a bar. Nice spacious out side covered patio with plenty of space for big corporate parties.

The only place on LL where you can pull in by boat and find some good service and good eatings.
They also has a gas docks that sell non ethanol gas and a convenient store with baits. Every thing you need at one stop.

Nice report, Bruce! That menu made me hungery smile I was so happy when Bass pro brought restaurants and great docks to Hubbard a few years ago. And Harbor Bay came along with more choices to dock to play and eat with the kiddos.

The hybrids are from the northern Texas lakes wink Courtesy of mother nature. Glad someone is enjoying them smile
