Had Justin Mcnealy and his wife out to try a little sandbass fishing on Eagle Mountain. took a little while to find fish but when we did it was hot and heavy until we got tried. Left them still biting. Caught about 120. kept 50 for the greese. All fish caught on chartuese and white ole uglies slabs and flies. All fish caught on a point in 19 to 22 fow. Real fun day with some neat people. Coffin shot below of what we kept for the fry. Johnny

Hey Sandyjohnny have you noticed a lot of small hybrids in the mix lately? I ran a full day trip in Saturday's hurricane and we caught/released two 16 inch hybrids. These were the first two that I've noticed out there this year, but given your experience on the lake, I thought you might have seen the same thing.

Not seen any this year last year quite a few. I know a guy who caught some a couple of weeks ago.
