About the time we have up on the topwater bite it was on....15 on tops, 25 total, off the water by 10:30....saw a clownshow at the ramp with both sides blocked for 20 min + by guys with no idea how to launch/trailer 15 ft John boats....the boats launching and trailering hit the ramp and fell off the trailers 2+ times The comedy made up for the frustratiom/waste of time

It' not just the John boats . Last week a Guy at Fayette with a new Skeeter (Looked like it just came off of the Tournament trail ), didn't hook the boat before pulling it out. He goosed the throttle on the truck. The boat got partially out of the water, but slid off unmercifally half way on the concrete, and half in the water. It happens to everyone every once in a while.

My buddies give me [censored] but I will not ever put my boat in or out without the hook on it. Watched a bot fall off once, never going to let that happen to me. That being said, I fished Fayetteville yesterday and killed it! Dang wind was terrible though, my buddy couldn't take it in his aluminum boat and split after catching one fish!
I wish the ramps weren't so steep at Fayetteville. I always spin going up the ramp. I launch at oak thicket, is the other ramp any better?

I get it..... but on the real, it was much funnier in person..... these guys on both boats were CLUELESS......
And In other news, the couple in the dinghy last seen rowing into a 20 mph wind in the cove across from prairie park may still be rowing
And somewhere Mr. Darwin is smiling .....

Yep, on the ramp @ Fayette you are rolling dice not hooking up before pulling out. Same @ Squaw Creek. I don't care that the "Squaw Creek Ramp Natzie's" are hating and waiting. I turn off my lights but still hook up the strap! :-)

Ok so boat 1 backs on ramp. Stops. 2 guys get out. Unload cooler. Fill cooler. Try to put in boat. Almost spill cooler. Cooler loaded. Back to truck. Grab 1 boat cushion. To boat. Load. Back to truck. Grab cushion. Load. Back to truck. Argue with buddy. Back to boat. Take out cushion. Back to truck. Buddy gets out of truck. Goes to cooler. In boat. Gets beer. Opens beer. Drinks beer. Back to truck. Gets life jacket. Back to truck. Gets half of fishing pole. Goes to boat. Drops off half of rod. Back to truck. Drinks beer. Grabs other half of rod. Back to boat. Drops rod in Boat. Back to truck. Grabs one fold back stadium seat. Back to boat. Drops seat in boat. Argues with partner about something. Takes stadium seat back to truck. Drinks beer. Gets different stadium seat. Back to boat. And so it goes.
The problem wasn't with the ramps....it was guys not knowing what they were doing...
On my worst day my partner and I can dump and load a boat in 5 minutes, maybe 10 on a bad day...... and always hook up before coming out.

Yeah I was there Saturday and Sunday. It all seems to be getting worse.... Lights on, staging on the ramp. I guess this is where we need signs that tell people not to get their boat ready on the ramp. And these are guys in bass boats.

Does anyone ever see people bass fishing out of a kayak at fayette?
I know the water is always rough at fayette, unless there is basically no wind and it is early in the morning.
