My brother, a friend of his that hasn't really crappie fished before, and myself fought the hurricane like conditions today on Palestine and caught 72 crappie with very few through backs, and 82 sandbass with maybe 15-20 keepers. All crappie caught on brush in 10-18 FOW. I tried plastics at first and was getting smoked by my hand ties 5 to 1 so I swapped back to my hand ties. Color didn't matter. Sandbass were caught in 18' on a point. Biggest crappie went 2lb 2oz with several others pushing 2#. There's no telling how many bites we missed because we couldn't feel the bites due to the wind. Sorry didn't take many pics

Man it was crazy rough today. Pictures don't do it justice. We were taking waves over the bow of my bay stealth

Very windy down on Canyon. We didn't take a single fish.

Thanks guys. Boats big enough I don't have to worry too much. That's why I got out of my little Xpress, great boat but too small for any wind on Palestine
